PHOENIX (AP) — Amazon.com Inc. says it will open its fourth distribution center in Arizona.

The 1.2 million-square-foot facility will be on the west side of Phoenix, like the other three.

The company says the facility will employ hundreds of people and that it is hiring managers, technical workers, floor staff and other positions.

On Wednesday, Amazon announced that it would open a fourth distribution center just outside of Indianapolis.

Amazon is steering business toward states that are not pressing the Internet retail giant on collecting taxes.
