Ask the gardening expert

Should I fertilize my outdoor flowers every time I water?

The experts vary. I have heard growers and nurserymen suggest that you use a bloom-type fertilizer at least once a week. I have heard others say that they use half doses each time they water. I am certain that you will need to do a dose of fertilizer at least once a week to keep the plant producing flowers at a fantastic rate that we have come to expect as normal.
