SULTAN, Wash. (AP) — The Snohomish County medical examiner’s office has identified a body found in Elk Creek as that of a 36-year-old Edmonds, Wash., man.

Michael Antonelli’s death has been ruled an accidental drowning caused by blunt-force injuries.

City of Everett watershed patrol officers found the body Thursday morning about 100 yards downstream from Antonelli’s campsite.

The Daily Herald says he went camping over the July 4 holiday weekend. Authorities believe he may have accidentally fallen into the water.
