Two Vancouver teenagers were injured early Saturday morning in a crash on state Highway 14 near Lieser Road.

Troopers cited the driver, Anellise H. Reynolds, 18, on suspicion of driving under the influence and cited her passenger, Alexandrea H. Mustafa, 19, on suspicion of minor in possession of alcohol, according to a Washington State Patrol news bulletin.

Both teens were transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center with minor injuries. Reynolds was listed in satisfactory condition Saturday evening. Mustafa had been treated and released.

According to the bulletin, Reynolds was driving a 2001 Hyundai Accent west on Highway 14, when the vehicle trailed off the road, hitting a dirt embankment and flipping on its top.

The Hyundai was totaled.

Troopers said the crash, reported at 2:38 a.m., was caused by speeding and inattention.
