SEATTLE (AP) — Authorities say that a Snohomish County sheriff’s deputy shot and wounded a man during a disturbance call at a home near Bothell.

Everett Sgt. Robert Goetz says the wounded man is in his 20s and was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. His condition was not immediately known.

Goetz says that the deputy involved is 44 years old and has been with sheriff’s office for two decades.

Not many other details were available.

Goetz couldn’t say why officers entered the home, but he added that there is a history of disturbances and domestic violence calls at the residence.
