PESHAWAR, Pakistan (AP) — Pakistani intelligence officials say a suspected U.S. drone fired missiles at a house in northwestern Pakistan near the Afghan border, killing seven alleged militants.

The officials say the house that was hit Monday was located in Gorvak village in the North Waziristan tribal area. Militants often pass through the village on their way to Afghanistan.

The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to the media.
