SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (AP) — Celebrity chef and thoroughbred owner Bobby Flay will give the keynote address at the National Museum of Racing’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Aug. 12.

Flay recently won his first Grade 1 stakes when Her Smile captured the $250,000 Prioress at Belmont Park on July 4. He won the $1 million Juvenile Fillies Turf with More Than Real at last year’s Breeders’ Cup at Churchill Downs.

This year’s Hall of Fame inductees include trainer Jerry Hollendorfer and jockey Shelby “Pike” Barnes.

Flay is best known for his cooking skills, his restaurants and his shows on the Food Network.
