AUBURN, Wash. (AP) — An Auburn, Wash., police spokesman says two police officers were injured in an accidental shooting at a gun range. Cmdr. Mike Hirman tells KIRO-TV the injuries are not considered serious.

He says a Renton officer was hit in the leg Thursday and taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle in stable condition. Hirman says a Tukwila officer was hit “superficially” in the abdomen, just below his vest and was taken to an Auburn hospital. KIRO says it’s possible the Tukwila officer was injured by debris.
