BELLINGHAM, Wash. (AP) — The Whatcom County sheriff’s office says a man sought in a 1997 Yakima County homicide has been arrested in Bellingham. The sheriff’s office says 60-year-old Michael O. Gorski was arrested at his daughter’s home on warrants alleging second-degree murder and second-degree assault.
The Bellingham Herald says the murder warrant stems from the 1997 killing of a woman in Selah. Gorski is also accused in a felony assault in 1999 in Yakima County.
He’s a former Whatcom County resident. Authorities believe that he has been living in Texas. He was arrested Tuesday.
