VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) — A California woman who attended the Rainbow Family Gathering in a national forest in southwest Washington is missing.

Fifty-four-year-old Marie Colello Hanson of South Lake Tahoe was last seen Sunday hitchhiking out of the area with a man known only as Owl.

The Skamania County sheriff’s office issued a bulletin Thursday seeking the public’s help in locating the woman.

The Columbian reports Hansen’s family says she lost touch with the people who accompanied her to the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, and they left without her.
