BALTIMORE (AP) — The Cleveland Indians recalled right-hander Jeanmar Gomez from Triple-A Columbus to make Sunday’s start against the Orioles.

Gomez previously pitched for Cleveland this season after being promoted on April 19. He went 0-1 with 4.91 ERA in four appearances through May 5.

The 23-year-old Gomez was 9-3 with a 2.40 ERA in 14 starts at Columbus and named to the International League All-Star team. He went 4-5 with a 4.68 ERA over 11 starts with the Indians in 2010.

To make room for Gomez, the Indians optioned outfielder Shelley Duncan to Columbus.

Manager Manny Acta says the team will recall left-hander David Huff on Monday to start against Minnesota. Fausto Camona will come off the disabled list to pitch the second game of the doubleheader.
