o Sean Robbins has been named chief executive officer of Greater Portland Inc., the public-private economic development agency formerly known as Greenlight Greater Portland. Robbins previously was executive vice president of Thrive, a Madison, Wis.-based public-private economic development agency. Greater Portland Inc. serves the Portland-Vancouver region.
• Brett Bryant has been hired as marketing executive for Southwest Washington at Heritage Bank, a subsidiary of Heritage Financial Corporation. He has 25 years banking experience and will help develop the bank’s presence in the region.
• Al Schauer, principal and former president and CEO of Mackay & Sposito Inc., has retired. Schauer has more than 40 years of engineering, surveying, land-planning and management experience in both public and private sector projects. He has been a relentless supporter of the Clark County community and has served on numerous local and national boards. Schauer served more than 34 years at M&S and will continue to participate on the company’s board of directors, as well as provide consulting services. He lives in Camas with his wife and young daughter.
