3 Marines injured in Humvee at Kitsap WA base

BANGOR, Wash. (AP) — Three Marines reportedly have been injured in a Humvee rollover at Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor in Washington.

The Kitsap Sun says the accident happened shortly before noon Monday.

The newspaper says two Marines were flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The third was taken to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries wasn’t immediately known.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
