CAMAS, Wash. (AP) — The Washington State Patrol says a cement truck blew a front tire and veered into oncoming traffic on State Highway 14, colliding with three passenger cars in a crash that killed an 18-year-old Vancouver woman.

Trooper Ryan Tanner said Kali B. Oberg was pronounced dead at the scene of the Monday afternoon crash in Camas, Wash. She had been driving a Toyota Corolla.

The Columbian says the cement truck driver was identified as 28-year-old Yevgeniu Konkin of Portland. He suffered a broken cheek bone.

The State Patrol says none of the five other people involved in the crash appears to have life-threatening injuries although one of the two passengers in Oberg’s car suffered multiple broken bones.

Traffic was detoured around the crash site until the highway reopened late Monday night.
