Van Mall — Can cupcakes help end childhood hunger? Ask Gbenie Rinta, who was named a fundraising champion last week in the Duncan Hines 1 Million Cupcake Challenge to end childhood hunger. Rinta, her brother and friends held a Great American Bake Sale and raised $1,339 to benefit Share Our Strength, a national nonprofit working to end childhood hunger in America. The funds will be matched by Duncan Hines.
