Floyd E. Engler

Floyd Edward Engler died June 25, 2011, in Portland, Ore. He was 84.

A celebration of life service was held June 30.

Memorial donations can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s, Church Street Station, P.O. Box 780, New York, N.Y. 10008-0780.

Oliver E. Potter

Oliver Eugene Potter died July 7, 2011, in Tualatin, Ore. He was 87.

A memorial service was held Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Vancouver.

Rolando T. Espiritu

Rolando “Roly” Tupas Espiritu died July 12, 2011, in Vancouver. He was 80.

A funeral service was held on Monday at Straub’s Funeral Home in Camas. Burial with military honors followed at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.

Wesley J. Marlow

Wesley James Marlow died peacefully July 13, 2011, at his home in Washougal. He was 75.

He was born June 29, 1936, in Maple Valley, Wash., to Matthew Harvey and Ruth (Welsh) Marlow. There will be no public services, per Wesley’s request.

Brown’s Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been in charge of arrangements.

Rosa L. Zahlke

Rosa Lee Zahlke died July 10, 2011. She was 91.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, at 11 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 17010 N.E. Ninth St., Vancouver, with later private interment at Williamette National Cemetery. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation is in charge of services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to SW Hospital Hospice.

John A. Smith

John Alfred Smith of Camas died July 8, 2011, at Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver. He was 51.

There will be no public services, per John’s request. Brown’s Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Steven A. Gray

Steven Allen Gray died July 10, 2011, at home in Washougal. He was 61.

A memorial service was held Friday, at Straub’s Funeral Home in Camas. A graveside service with full military honors was held at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
