Clark County’s inventory of homes listed for sale declined to a 6.8-month supply in June, down from 7.9 months in May, according to Portland-based RMLS.

Year-over-year, June listings held steady with the 6.8-month supply of houses for sale in June 2010. The number means it would take 6.8 months to sell the 3,335 houses listed for sale countywide if no new inventory was added.

The RMLS reported 490 sales closed in June, down from 528 sales the same month last year. The June median sales price — half sold for more, half for less — was $180,000, down 18.1 percent from $219,900 in June 2010.
