GAP, France (AP) — Tour de France organizers say a television technician has been found dead in his caravan.

The body of 59-year-old Patrick Guay was discovered early Tuesday in the caravan close to the finish in the town of Gap. The cause of death is under investigation.

Guay is the uncle of French Quick Step rider Jerome Pineau, who was 38th in the race at the start of the stage. Guay competed in cycle races in the late 1970s.
