LAS VEGAS (AP) — The World Series of Poker is one elimination away from having its final table set, with 10 players jockeying for nine spots.

The biggest bubble in poker arrived Tuesday night in Las Vegas with the difference between 10th and ninth in the no-limit Texas Hold ’em tournament well beyond the $174,000 difference in prize money.

The nine finalists — relatively unknown beyond poker circles — won’t finish the tournament until November, after having time to study their opponents and make names for themselves among card players.

The players are all sitting at the same table for the first time in this tournament after Khoa Nguyen of Calgary, Alberta, was eliminated in 11th place.

Eoghan O’Dea (OH-wen OH-dee) has the lead with 41.6 million in chips after six hours of play.
