Police find man shot in SE Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Police responded late Wednesday night to a report of shots fired in southeast Portland and found a man who had been shot. Sgt. Pete Simpson says the unidentified man was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police set up a neighborhood perimeter of several blocks in each direction as they began to look for a possible suspect.
