SHANGHAI (AP) — The Dutch women couldn’t quite match or better their world record time from Rome two years ago, but still won gold in the 4-x-100 freestyle relay at the world championships.

The Netherlands finished in a time of 3 minutes, 33.96 seconds Sunday, just over two seconds slower than their world mark.

The United States won the silver with a time of 3:34.47 and Germany took the bronze in a time of 3:36.05.
