RENTON, Wash. (AP) — The Seattle Seahawks have signed six of their nine picks from the 2011 draft, including fourth-round pick wide receiver Kris Durham.
The six players were on the field for the Seahawks’ first walkthrough practice of training camp on Thursday morning.
Also taking part were defensive back Richard Sherman (fifth round, Stanford), Mark LeGree (fifth round, Appalachian State), defensive back Byron Maxwell (sixth round, Clemson), defensive lineman Pep Levingston (seventh round, LSU) and linebacker Malcolm Smith (seventh round, USC). LeGree’s agents say he’s agreed to a four-year deal with Seattle.
Three Seattle draft picks remain unsigned, including first-round pick James Carpenter out of Alabama and third-round pick John Moffitt out of Wisconsin. Carpenter and Moffitt are expected to be possible starters on the right side of Seattle’s offensive line.
