SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — The Spokane Fire Department says a 9-year-old girl was playing with a lighter when she accidentally set her clothes on fire at her home.

The department says she suffered critical burns Wednesday and was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Family members told KHQ and KREM she was in stable condition with burns to her chest and face.
