NEW YORK (AP) — The Jets have officially announced the signing of wide receiver Santonio Holmes, who agreed to a five-year deal earlier in the week.

New York also officially signed safety Eric Smith, kicker Nick Folk, offensive linemen Wayne Hunter and Robert Turner, and wide receiver Jeremy Kerley, the team’s fifth-round draft pick, on Saturday.

Defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson, New York’s first-round draft pick from Temple, has agreed to a four-year deal. He says on Twitter he is headed to the team’s facility in Florham Park, N.J., to sign his contract.

Holmes was considered the Jets’ top priority, and the team agreed to terms with him on a deal worth almost $50 million on Wednesday.
