MILWAUKEE (AP) — Free agent wide receiver James Jones is returning to the Green Bay Packers.

Agent Frank Bauer confirmed Sunday that Jones has agreed to a three-year deal with the team.

Financial terms were not disclosed. Bauer says Jones is happy to be back with the Super Bowl champions.

Several media outlets reported the deal earlier Sunday, including the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Jones explored the free-agent market, but several other teams looking for receiving help signed other free agents. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has said the team should make keeping Jones a top priority.
