NEW YORK (AP) — NFL Network will be available on cable provider Charter starting this season.
The two sides announced the new deal Monday. Charter is the fourth-largest cable operator in the United States.
The agreement will put NFL Network in about 60 million homes, up from about 57 million, out of the nation’s approximately 116 million households with televisions.
The deal will also add the NFL RedZone channel to Charter’s sports tier. RedZone bounces around to key moments in each game on Sundays.
NFL Network has clashed with major cable companies. It is now available through seven of the eight largest television service providers, with Time Warner the only exception.
