Small fires set near Everett High School

EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — Firefighters extinguished five small blazes that were set early Thursday near Everett High School.

Fire Marshal Rick Robinson told The Daily Herald they burned two trash cans near the gym and a couch, mattress and recycling bin off the campus.

Police are investigating.
