Brothers captures poles for Six Hours of The Glen

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (AP) — Ricky Taylor wont he Daytona Prototype pole for the Six Hours of The Glen on Friday, while his younger brother Jordan took the pole in the GT class.

The Taylors will be the first set of brothers to start from separate pole positions in a GRAND-AM Rolex Car Series race on Saturday at Watkins Glen International’s famed road circuit.

The 21-year-old Ricky, who will co-drive a Chevrolet/Dallara prototype with Max Angelelli, turned a fast lap of 121.560 mph on the 3.4-mile road course.

Jordan, who is a year younger, co-drives with Bill Lester and Tom Milner Jr. They led a 1-2-3 Chevrolet Camaro parade in GT qualifying with a fast lap of 109.345.
