Body found near Cle Elum was Seattle woman

ELLENSBURG, Wash. (AP) — The Kittitas County sheriff’s office says the human remains found last September on Suncadia Resort property near Cle Elum have been identified as a 22-year-old Seattle woman who disappeared in 1972.

KING-TV reports Kerry M. May-Hardy was identified through a DNA sample.

The body was discovered by workers at a golf course water system project.
