HOUSTON (AP) — Justin Jones struck out 10 in six-plus innings of relief as California rebounded from a four-run deficit and eliminated Alcorn State 10-6 in the Houston Regional on Saturday.

After falling behind 4-0 in the second, the Bears answered by sending 10 batters to the plate in the third and scoring six runs to chase Braves starter Troy Williams (7-6). Chadd Krist and Chad Bunting each had two-run doubles, and Darrel Matthews added an RBI double to make it 6-4.
