PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Minor flooding is expected to continue for several days at the confluence of the Columbia and Willamette rivers.
The National Weather Service said Saturday that low-lying campgrounds and recreation areas, trails and parking areas are affected. It said the river is a little more than a foot above flood stage.
Although forecasters are awaiting a large amount of spring runoff from snow in the Rocky Mountains, the weather service said flows through Bonneville Dam are expected to be steady for several days.
