FRISCO, Texas (AP) — Kevin Hartman got his 100th career shutout and Martin Chavez scored in the 69th minute to give FC Dallas a 1-0 win over the New England Revolution on Saturday night.

The 37-year-old Hartman, in his 15th MLS season, needed to make just two saves for his league-leading seventh shutout of the season. Real Salt Lake’s Nick Rimando is second in MLS with 79.

The win extended Dallas’ unbeaten streak to nine (6-0-3), six of which have been shutouts, and solidified its second-place position in the Western Conference standings.

The Revolution lost their third straight game and are winless in six road games, with two ties.
