TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — The NCAA tournament game between Alabama and Florida State in the Tallahassee Regional was suspended because of severe weather Sunday night, with the Seminoles leading 8-1 in the top of the sixth inning.

The game will be completed on Monday at noon EDT.

The Crimson Tide’s Brock Bennett was at the plate with a 1-2 count when play was halted.

If Florida State wins, the Seminoles will advance to the super regionals. If Alabama wins, the regional championship game will be played 50 minutes after the conclusion of the suspended game, not at 6 p.m. EDT, as originally scheduled.
