PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The Los Angeles Dodgers activated outfielder Marcus Thames, right-hander Blake Hawksworth and infielder Juan Uribe off the 15-day disabled list.
The Dodgers also purchased the contract of shortstop Dee Gordon on Monday. Jay Gibbons and Juan Castro were designated for assignment. The Dodgers also optioned Ivan De Jesus and John Ely to Triple-A Albuquerque.
Gordon is the son of former major leaguer Tom Gordon.
