NEW YORK (AP) — The conservative blogger whose website published racy photos of a New York congressman says his posts have been accurate and that his reputation is being smeared by the congressman.

Before a news conference called by U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner (WEE’-nuhr), blogger Andrew Breitbart (BRYTE’-bart) took to the podium to explain his side of the story that has threatened Weiner’s political career.

Breitbart’s odd, impromptu press conference in Manhattan comes on the heels of a second batch of racy photos purported to show the congressman and were sent online. Last week, a picture of a man’s crotch was sent from Weiner’s Twitter account. He says the account was hacked and he doesn’t know if it was a picture of him.
