Ridgefield woman takes on heart disease

Ridgefield — Bj Babcock, a Ridgefield resident, was named the WomenHeart Pacific Northwest District Leader. Babcock is currently the Clark County Support Network Coordinator of WomenHeart, a national nonprofit support, education and information group for women living with or at risk of heart disease. Babcock formed the local group in May 2010 and in her new role will be focusing on growing the group, as well as creating new WomenHeart chapters throughout the Northwest.
