COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Madison Chock and Greg Zuerlein, the 2009 world junior champions in ice dance, have called it quits.

Zuerlein is retiring from competitive skating while Chock said Tuesday she will look for a new partner. She continues to train in Canton, Mich.

Chock and Zuerlein began skating together in 2007 and enjoyed their best season two years later. They won all five events they entered, including the junior world championships, the junior Grand Prix final and the junior title at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships.

Chock and Zuerlein finished third as seniors at this year’s U.S. championships. They were ninth at the world championships.
