MILWAUKEE (AP) — The Milwaukee Brewers have drafted Trent Boras, the son of agent Scott Boras.

Milwaukee took the younger Boras, a high school third baseman from Newport Coast, Calif., in the 30th round of the baseball draft on Tuesday.

Boras’ father is known for hard-driving negotiating tactics that lead to big contracts for his clients. Among them is Brewers first baseman Prince Fielder, who is expected to explore free agency when his deal expires after this season.

One round earlier, the Brewers took right-hander David Lucroy, the younger brother of Milwaukee catcher Jonathan Lucroy.
