MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — A southern Oregon woman has pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide and assault in a deadly crash that killed her son and his girlfriend.

The Mail Tribune reports that 48-year-old Lynne Tibbetts of Medford was sentenced to 90 days in jail and three years on probation.

A judge also permanently revoked her driver’s license and ruled she must pay financial restitution to the family of one of the victims.

Tibbetts was driving a sport utility vehicle near the town of Ruch last July when she lost control and hit a tree. Her 20-year-old son, Douglas Auberry, and 18-year-old girlfriend, Faith Vock, were killed and six other young people were injured.
