Hazel Dell — Here’s one achievement to raise a glass to. According to The Pantagraph in Bloomington, Ill., 1989 River graduates Neal MacDonald and Andy Laventis are two-thirds of the management team for www.Proof66.com, a liquor review aggregation website that’s been up for the past three years. Now they’ve launched their first iPhone application, Liquor Hub, which is powered by the 4,000 different listings on the website. The app helps shoppers navigate the spirits aisle and the burgeoning craft-distillery movement, using quick searches, Top 20 rankings and barcode scanning. MacDonald lives in Bloomington and Laventis lives in Washington, D.C.
