Deputies in Skamania County last month seized marijuana plants from a three-story residential home they say had seven rooms filled with plants and sophisticated growing equipment.

Officers took from the home 1,050 plants with a street value of more than $300,000. Some of the plants appeared to be about 5 feet tall.

No suspects were at the residence when the warrant was executed May 19. An investigation by the sheriff’s office and the Clark-Skamania Drug Task Force is ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Tracy Wyckoff at 509-427-9490. There is also a Marijuana Eradication Program Hotline, 1-800-388-4769, coordinated through the Washington State Patrol and the Drug Enforcement Administration that offers rewards for information leading to seizures of marijuana.
