PASCO, Wash. (AP) — A 22-year-old Pasco woman whose older brother was arrested in connection with her death died of severe blood loss.

Franklin County Coroner Dan Blasdel told the Tri-City Herald that an autopsy performed Saturday showed Magdalena Velasco-Garcia suffered sharp force trauma to her head, torso, arms and legs. Blasdel ruled the death was a homicide.

She was found dead Thursday outside her home.

Her brother, 28-year-old Aaron Velasco, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder. He’s being held in the Franklin County jail on $500,000 bail.
