SPRINGFIELD, Ore. (AP) — A Springfield man is in jail on charges that he beat his infant son.
The Eugene Register-Guard reports 24-year-old Nathan J. Monnier was charged with first-degree assault and first-degree criminal mistreatment.
Monnier’s 10-week-old son suffered a broken clavicle and six broken ribs.
The baby is in stable condition and did not suffer a head injury.
