SEATTLE (AP) — The Marie Callender’s website on Monday shows no restaurant locations in Washington.

But there had been three before they were closed Sunday as the owner of Perkins & Marie Callender’s Inc. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in Delaware. Restaurants closed in Spokane Valley, Seattle and Federal Way.

A manager at the Seattle restaurant, Mapp Chhim, told KOMO that he had 25 people in the restaurant Sunday for a birthday party when he was told he had to tell them to leave.

Chhim said the three restaurants in Washington employed more than 100 people.
