Learn to make homemade bread and freezer jam, and take home the proceeds to share, at one of Washington State University Clark County Extension’s upcoming Jam and Bread camps.

Participants ages 9-12 will learn how to make freezer jam from fresh strawberries and yeast bread, which they can take home and bake.

Classes are from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday, June 23, or Saturday, July 9, at Bi-Zi Farms, 9504 N.E. 119th St., or 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, July 19, at Clark County’s Heritage Farm, 1919 N.E. 78th St.

The camp fee is $12, which includes supplies for the jam and bread and recipes to make more. To register, call 360-397-6060 ext. 5700 or in person at the Heritage Farm during business hours Tuesdays-Fridays.
