Misdemeanor charges filed against Darigold

ISSAQUAH, Wash. (AP) — The U.S. Attorney’s Office has filed misdemeanor charges against Darigold over a 2009 ammonia spill that killed about four-dozen fish.

The charges allege Darigold violated the Clean Water Act and Endangered Species Act by negligently dumping an ammonia solution into the east fork of Issaquah Creek on Oct.
