PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A leaky valve that released ammonia briefly forced the evacuation of workers at a Portland dairy.

Portland Fire and Rescue officials said no injuries had been reported Wednesday and the advisory to residents within a half mile of the Alpenrose Dairy to shelter in place was canceled.

The dairy also has a number of athletic facilities on the property, including baseball and softball fields.
