PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — An ammonia leak forced the evacuation of workers at a Portland dairy while fire crews asked residents of the neighborhood within half a mile of the dairy to stay indoors.

Paul Cora of the Portland Fire and Rescue Bureau told KGW-TV no injuries had been reported but a hazardous materials crew was at Alpenrose Dairy in southwest Portland at noontime on Wednesday.

The dairy also has a number of athletic facilities on the property, including baseball and softball fields.
