HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) — Jurors have found an Aloha, Ore., man guilty of murder in the strangling death of his 78-year-old mother.

The Oregonian reports that 55-year-old Michael Lee Reineke was convicted Wednesday in Washington County Circuit Court. Prosecutors say he used a telephone cord to kill Norma Louise Gordon last June in her home.
