MALBUN, Liechtenstein (AP) — Steven Kruijswijk of the Netherlands has won the sixth stage of the Tour of Switzerland, and Juan Mauricio Soler of Colombia has quit the race after he was injured in a crash.

Soler was second overall before Thursday’s stage. The crash forced organizers to temporarily stop the stage to treat several injured riders. The extent of Soler’s injuries were not announced.

Damiano Cunego of Italy kept the overall lead by finishing third.

Kruijswijk won the 98-mile leg from Taegerschen, Switzerland, to Malbun, Liechtenstein, in 4 hours, 12 minutes, 3 seconds. He beat Levi Leipheimer of the U.S. to the finish line by nine seconds.
